Indira Gandhi National Open University invites online application from eligible candidates for admission in Doctorate programme. The important details of the admission process are listed below -

Course name : Doctor of Philosophy

Educational Qualification : Masters Degree from a University recognized by UGC in the relevant discipline with at least 55% marks [50%marks in the case of SC, ST and OBC(Non-creamy Layer)/Differently-Abled, EWS and other categories of candidates as per the decision of UGC from time to time.

Admission Details

Indira Gandhi National Open University invites applications from eligible candidates for admission in various programmes. The method of admission will be Course Admission. Quota/Reservation will be provided to the following categories: Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, Other Backward Classes, Economically Weaker Sections and Unreserved. The examination will be conducted through Online mode at All India level. The selection process will include an Interview process. After compilation of all the procedures, the candidates will be posted at New Delhi, Delhi, India, 110011.
