National Institute of Urban Affairs invites applications for the following post via direct recruitment:

Post Name: Senior Program Officer (Content Development and Knowledge Management)

Essential Qualification: Masters degree in Urban Planning/Governance/Civil/Environmental Engineering or any other related field.

Essential Work Experience: 

  • At least 4 years of relevant work experience in the area of urban water and sanitation.

  • The candidate should be well versed in providing insight on inclusive and resilient water and sanitation at the city/state level. Strong conceptual and analytical skills in undertaking research, documentation, and producing learning materials and reports will be an asset.

  • Substantial professional experience in planning and rolling out capacity-building activities/learning events is highly desirable.

  • Ability to work in a large team and produce desirable outputs. Knowledge of MS Office programs – Word, PowerPoint and Excel is essential.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. Knowledge of Hindi language is preferable.

  • 5 - 8 years.
