Department of Fisheries invites applications for the following posts via Deputation:

Post Name: Senior Technical Assistant (Fisheries)

Essential Qualification:

• holding analogous post on regular basis in the parent cadre or Department

• Five years regular service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto in the scale of pay of PB-2 9300-34800 with Grade pay of 4200 or equivalent in the parent cadre or Department, or Ten years regular service in the grade rendered after appointment in the scale of pay of PB-1 5200-20200 with Grade Pay of 2800 or equivalent in the parent cadre or department

• Master Degree in Zoology with specialization in fisheries; or M.F.Sc or M.Sc. in Marine Biology or M.Sc in Industrial Fisheries or M.Sc. in Aquaculture or M.sc in Fisheries Sciences from a recognized university or institute.

Essential Work Experience: Two years of experience in Fisheries Research or work experience in the field of Fisheries (inland or Marine or Aquaculture) from a Central or State Government Department or Public Sector Undertaking or Recognised Research Institute or semi-Government or Statutory or Autonomous Organization or Private Sector.
