Post Name : Project Scientist C (Non-Medical)

Essential Qualification :

(1) 1st Class Master Degree in Economics/ Health Economics/ Econometrics/ Actuarial Science/ Public Health/ Epidemiology/ Public Administration/ Health care Management / Statistics/ Applied Mathematics from a recognized institution/university. With 4 years’ experience in the relevant field.

(2) 2nd Class Master Degree in Economics/ Health Economics/ Econometrics/ Actuarial Science/ Public Health/ Epidemiology/ Public Administration/ Health care Management / Statistics/ Applied Mathematics from a recognized institution/university + PhD. With 4 years’ experience in the relevant field.

Desirable:

(1) Doctorate in relevant subject from a recognized university.

(2) Additional Post-doctoral research experience in relevant subjects in recognized Institute(s).

(3) Experience in conducting of health economic studies or economic models.

(4) Experience in managing projects in Health sector in recognized institute.

(5) Working Knowledge of Statistical Packages like SPSS, R and spread sheets such as MS Excel.

(6) Good Scientific writing and communication skills.

(7) Candidates with proven scientific writing skills & good communication skills in English as evidenced by publications either as Primary or Corresponding Author in peer reviewed international journals will be preferred.

Recruitment Details

ICMR National Institute for Research in Tuberculosis invites application for various posts. Total 1 number of vacancy/vacancies have been announced in the notification.
