Punjab Agricultural University invites applications for the following post via direct recruitment:

Post Name: Research Associate

Essential Qualification:

  1. B.Sc. (Agri.)/B.Sc. Hort./B.Sc. Biotechnology/ B.Tech Biotechnology with minimum OCPA of 6.00/10.00 basis or 60 % marks.

  2. M.Sc.Plant Breeding/ Plant Breeding & Genetics/ Genetics (CropPlants)/ Biotechnology (Crop plants) with minimum OCPA 6.50/ 10.00 basis or 65% marks

  3. Ph.D. Plant Breeding/ Plant Breeding & Genetics/Genetics(CropPlants)/Biotechnology (Crop plants) with minimum OCPA 6.50 / 10.00 basis or 65% marks.

Desirable:

  1. Experience in genotypic data analysis and bioinformatics, data scoring and field evaluation of crop plants.

  2. Working knowledge with wheat crop.

  3. Computer literacy in Microsoft office.
