Post Name: Joint Director (Farm Information)

Essential Qualification: Officers from the Central or State Governments or Union Territories or Public Sector Undertaking or Agricultural Universities or Recognized Research Institutions or Councils or Semi- Government or Autonomous or Statutory Organizations:

• holding analogous posts on regular basis in the parent cadre or department.

• with five years regular service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on a regular basis in posts in Pay Band-3, (15600-39100) +Grade Pay 5400/- (Level 10)

• with seven years regular service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on a regular basis in posts in Pay Band-2 (9300-34800) + Grade Pay 4600/- (Level 7).

Possessing the educational qualifications and experiences.

• Masters degree in Agriculture or Agricultural Extension from a recognized University or Institute;

• Five years experience in Agricultural Extension including Farm Communication.

Desirable:

1. Degree or diploma in Journalism or Mass Communication from a recognised University.

2. Experience of handling work relating to a agricultural information mass media, farm extension literature agriculture exhibitions, production of audio visual materials relating to topics on agriculture and agricultural films.
