Uttar Pradesh Metro Rail Corporation Limited invites applications for the following posts via Deputation:

Post Name: Director (Rolling Stock and Systems)

Essential Qualification:

1. The applicant should have a BE/B Tech. in Electrical or Mechanical or Electronics and Communication Engineering with good academic record from a recognized university.

2. An applicant from Government or public sector should have a minimum of 25 years of experience in Group A or equivalent executive grade. An applicant currently not in Government or public sector, but having earlier experience of at least 25 years in Group A or equivalent executive grade in Government or public sector, shall also be eligible. For the applicant currently working in Government/Public Sector but earlier worked in Private Sector should be in SAG grade for last 3 years and must have total experience of 25 years at Executive level.

3. Applicant from Listed Companies of private sector should have minimum of 25 years experience as executive subject to fulfilling other requirement. Such candidates from listed private sector companies would be considered if the average annual turnover of the company is Rupees One Thousand Crores or more per annum, in last three years. (The Average audited annual turnover of three financial years preceding the financial year in which the post is advertised shall be considered for applying the approved limits).

4. Out of 25 years of experience mentioned above, five (5) years experience should be in Modern rolling stock used in Rail Based Mass Transit System or Railway/Metro electrification with 25KV AC or 750V DC traction system or Signaling & Telecommunication of Railway/Metro projects.

Desirable:

1. MBA or Masters Degree in Electrical or Mechanical or Electronics and Communication Engineering from Govt. recognized Institute/ University.

2. Experience of all phases of major rail based urban transportation projects on contracts i.e. Planning, Bid Documents, Bidding, Execution, Commissioning, post commissioning, etc. Experience of implementing major projects and complying with project related requirements of international funding institutions;
