Petroleum and Explosives Safety Organisation invites applications for the following posts via Deputation:

Post Name: Hindi Officer

Essential Qualification: 

Promotion/Transfer on deputation

1. Officers under the Central/State Government.

2. Holding analogous posts on regular basis: OR

3. With 3 years regular service in posts in the Level in the Pay Matrix-6 35400-112400 (Pre-revised - PB-2 9300-34800+ GP 4200) or equivalent, OR

4. With 8 years regular service in posts in the Level in the Pay Matrix-5 29200-92300 (Pre-revised -PB-1 5200-20200 + GP 2800); and b) Possessing the following educational qualification and experience:

5. Masters degree of a recognized University or equivalent in Hindi with English as a subject at the degree level.

6. Masters degree of a recognized university or equivalent in English with Hindi as a subject at the degree level

7. Masters Degree of a recognized University or equivalent in any subject with Hindi and English as a subject at the degree level.

8. Masters degree of a recognized University or equivalent in any subject with Hindi medium and English as a subject at the degree level.

9. Masters degree of a recognized University or equivalent in any subject with English Medium and Hindi as a subject at the degree level.

10. 5 years experience of terminological work in Hindi and /or translation Work from English to Hindi or Vice -Versa preferably technical or scientific Literature or 5 years experience of teaching research, writing or journalism in Hindi.

Desirable: 

1. Knowledge of Sanskrit and /or a modern Indian Language.

2. Administrative experience.

3. Experience in organizing Hindi Classes/Workshops for noting and drafting.

4. The departmental Senior Hindi translator with 3 years of regular service in the grade will also be considered along with the outsiders and in case he or she is selected for appointment to the post, same will be treated as having been filled by promotion. The Departmental Officers in the feeder category who are in the direct line of promotion shall not be eligible for consideration for appointment by promotion (period of deputation including period of deputation in another ex-cadre post held immediately preceding this appointment in the same or some other organization/department of the Central Government shall ordinarily not exceed three years.

Essential Qualification: 

1. By Transfer/Transfer on Deputation

2. Officer of the Central/State Government

3. holding analogous posts or

4. with five years of service in the posts in Level-4 (25500 - 81100) (Pre-revised PB-1 520020200 + GP 2400) and having three years experience in Cash and Accounts matter. Persons trained in Cash and Accounts at the Institute of Secretariat Management and Training will be preferred. Period of deputation including period of deputation in an ex-cadre post held immediately preceding this appointment in the same organization/department shall ordinarily not exceed three years.
