Indian Bureau of Mines(IBM) invites applications for the following posts via Deputation:

Post Name: Regional Controller of Mines

Essential Qualification:Officers of the Central Government or State Government or Union Territories or Autonomous or Statutory Organisation or Public Sector Undertakings or University or Recognised Rescarch Institution: 

(a)(i) holding analogous post on regular basis in the parent cadre or department: or 

(ii) with five years service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on a regular basis in posts in level 12 in the pay matrix (Rs. 78800-209200).

AND

(b) Possessing the following educational qualifications and experience : 

(a)(i) Bachelor of Engineering or Technology in Mining Engineering from a recognised University or institution

(ii) Twelve years experience in core Mining activity in: (

1) Managerial position in Metalliferous (Non-coal) mines which includes the period as graduate or management or junior trainee engineer

or 2) Government Department dealing with mines and minerals, as Group A officer dealing with mines and minerals

OR

(c)(i) Master of Engineering or Technology in Mining Engineering from a recognised University or institution

(ii) Ten years experience in core Mining activity in:

1) Managerial position in Metalliferous (Non - Coal) mines which includes the period as 

graduate or management or junior trainee engineer

or 2) Government Department dealing with mines and minerals, as Group A officer dealing with mines and minerals
