Odisha Mining Corporation Limited invites applications for the following posts via direct recruitment:

Post Name: General Manager

Essential Qualification: M.Sc. Degree in Geology/ Applied Geology or M. Sc Tech. in Geology / Applied Geology or M. Tech. in Geology / Applied Geology from recognized University/ Institute approved by AICTE.

Essential Work Experience:

(i)Must have minimum 20 years of postqualification experience in geological functions pertaining to metalliferous mines in the area of Exploration/ Mining/ Geological Consultancy.

(ii)Within the required minimum experience of 20 years, the candidate must be having 10 years of working experience in the metalliferous mines in the field of Quality Control and must be conversant with relevant statutes under MMDR/ MCDR / MCR etc.

(iii) Should be familiar with Mapping, Resource/Reserve Estimation as per UNFC guidelines, Excavation Planning, Reconciliation of Production etc.

(iv) Sound knowledge on ISO standards for sampling & analysis and exposure to application software/ statistical tools used in excavation, planning, monitoring & grade control shall be an added advantage.

(v)Exposure to software for resource modeling & estimation and grade control shall be an advantage.
