Essential Qualification: 1st class Masters degree in Life Science/ Zoology/ Medical Entomology/ Public Health Entomology or 2nd class Masters degree with Ph. D in Life Science/Zoology/Medical Entomology/Public Health Entomology from a recognized university.

Essential Work Experience: Two years experience

Post Name: Project Technical Officer

Essential Qualification: Graduate in Zoology/ Medical Lab Technology/ Bio-Technology from a recognised university or Masters degree in Zoology/ Medical Lab Technology/ Bio-Technology/ Medical Entomology/ Public Health Entomology.

Essential Work Experience: Five years work experience from a recognised institution

Post Name: Project Technician III

Essential Qualification: 12th Standard pass in science subjects with any one of the following

  1. Two years Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology or

  2. One-year Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology + one year experience in a recognized organization or

  3. Two years field/laboratory experience* in Government recognized organization.

Essential Work Experience: B.Sc., degree shall be treated as 03 years experience

Recruitment Details

ICMR Vector Control Research Centre invites application for various posts. Total 4 number of vacancy/vacancies have been announced in the notification. Applications are invited with reference to advertisement number 08(1)/PROJECT/2022. The minimum age limit is 18 and the maximum age limit ranges to 35, depending on the specific post. Please look at the Official Notification for the age limits mentioned for each post. Age relaxation will be given to the following categories: Scheduled Tribes and Other Backward Classes will be as per the government rules. Quota/Reservation will be provided to the following categories: Scheduled Tribes, Other Backward Classes and Economically Weaker Sections . The examination will be conducted through Offline mode at Regional level. The selection process will include an Interview process. After compilation of all the procedures, the candidates will be posted at Puducherry, India, 605009.
