Central Agricultural University Imphal invites online applications from eligible candidates for admission in undergraduate/postgraduate programme. The important details of the admission process are listed below -

Educational Qualification:

UG Programmes:The candidate must have passed higher secondary (10+2) with minimum 50% aggregate in PCMB/PCM in accordance with the degree programme and should have passed the 10+2/ Class XII (Science) or its equivalent examinations with English as one subject of study.

[P Physics, C=Chemistry, B Biology, M Mathematics]

PG Programmes:

(i) Candidates with Bachelors degree in concerned/related subjects from a recognized University with OGPA of 6 60/10 00, 3.25/5 00, 2.6/4 00 for General/OBC/EWS candidates are eligible for admission to the Masters Degree programmes. SC/ST/PwBD/Third Gender candidates with OGPA of 5 60/10.00, 2 75/5 00, 2 20/4 00 in the Bachelors degree programme shall be eligible for the admission. In case where Grade Points are not awarded, 1 only marks are awarded, the candidates must have secured at least 60% marks for General/OBC/EWS category and 50% marks for SC/ST/PWBD/Third Gender category. Candidates possessing 10+6 B Sc (Hons.) Agriculture degree shall also be eligible for admission to MSc (Agri) and MSc (Hort) programme. The candidates having passed Bachelors degree with 3 years duration will not be considered for admission in any of the above PG programmes.

(ii) ICAR guidelines for eligibility of students passing out from accredited Universities/ Colleges and Non-accredited Private Agricultural Universities/ Colleges will be strictly followed.
