Punjab Remote Sensing Centre invites applications for the following posts via direct recruitment:

Post Name: Junior Research Fellow

Essential Qualification:

  • Bachelor degree

  • Postgraduate degree in Remote Sensing and GIS/Geoinformatics/ Agriculture Sciences/ Geospatial Technology (or related subjects) along with CSIR/UGC/ICAR- NET/GATE or

  • Post Graduate Diploma in Remote Sensing and GIS

Desirable:

  • Good knowledge of machine learning/data science/artificial intelligence in at least any one of the programming languages such as MATLAB, R or Python etc

  • Proficiency in GIS and Image Processing Softwares

  • Experience in interpretation of data and writing reports/papers in peer reviewed journals
