National Institute of Technology Delhi invites applications for the following posts via direct recruitment:

Post Name: Junior Research fellow (JRF)/ Project Assistant (PA)

Essential Qualification:

• The candidate must have Master degree with at least 60% marks (or a CGPA of 6.5 on scale of 10) in any of the disciplines as mentioned herewith (Physics/Applied Physics/Astrophysics).

• Preference shall be given to the GATE/NET/CSIR-JRF/UGC-NET candidates in Physical Science for appointment as Junior Research Fellow (JRF).

• However, in case of limited or non-availability of JRF candidates, a Project Assistant (PA) can be appointed as per SERB-DST norms

Desirable:

• Good knowledge of fundamentals in Plasma Physics, Solar Physics and Astrophysics.

• Good programming skills in MATLAB/Python/Fortran/IDL.

• Prior experience of working in the above domains.
