Panjab University Chandigarh invites applications for the following posts via direct recruitment:

Post Name: Guest Faculty (Economics)

Essential Qualification:

1. Good academic record as per latest UGC and the Panjab University norms in Master Degree of Economics with at least 55% marks (50% for SC/ST/Physically & Visually Handicapped) or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed at the Masters degree level from an Indian University, or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign University.

2. Besides fulfilling the above qualifications, the candidate must have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the UGC, in the subject of Economics.

Desirable Qualification:

1. Graduation with Maths/Statistics and Economics as an elective subject or BA(Hons) in Economics.

2. Knowledge of MS Office STATA/SPSS/Eviews/R/Python.

3. Mathematical Economics, Statistical papers and computer software based paper/s for economics students.
