Post Name: Junior Research Scientist

Essential Qualification: PhD degree in Life Sciences from the recognized university.

Desirable:

• Animal handling and experimentation.

• BSL3 and ABSL3 procedures.

• Expertise in immunological techniques and T cell assays.

• Publication in immunology.

• To plan, design and conduct experiments.

Post Name: Project Research Scientist-I

Essential Qualification:

• First Class Post Graduate Degree, including the integrated PG degree in Life Sciences from the recognized university. OR

• Second Class Post Graduate Degree, including the integrated PG degree with PhD in Life Sciences from the recognized university.

Desirable: Candidate is expected to work with rodent models of metabolic diseases for drug discovery projects. Candidate with some experience in animal models related to metabolic diseases; oral gavage; biochemical investigations; tissue histology; will be preferred. Candidate is expected to execute, optimize protocols for target validation, such as RT-PCR, SDSPAGE, ELISA, western blots, in vitro RNA techniques (biotin RNA pull downs, RNA-IP, CLIP assays etc. Candidate should have at least one first-author peer-reviewed publication in an international journal indexed in Pubmed or Scopus.

Post Name: Project Research Scientist-I

Essential Qualification:

• First Class Post Graduate Degree, including the integrated PG degree in Organic Chemistry/medicinal chemistry from the recognized university. OR

• Second Class Post Graduate Degree, including the integrated PG degree with PhD in organic chemistry or medicinal chemistry from the recognized university.

Desirable: Candidate is expected to work on medicinal chemistry project to support drug discovery work. Candidate with prior experience of working in synthetic medicinal chemistry laboratory (academic or industrial setup) and with prior experience of performing drug metabolism and pharmacokinetic studies will be preferred. Candidate should have at least one first-author peer-reviewed publication in an international journal indexed in Pubmed or Scopus.
