Event Information

Himachal Pradesh University invites online application from eligible candidates for admission in undergraduate programme. The important details of the admission process are listed below -

Course name : B.Tech/B.Tech (Lateral Entry)

Educational Qualification :

(1) The eligibility is 10+2 examination or equivalent, passed with Physics, Mathematics and any one of the other elective subjects of a Board/University established by law in India with 50% marks or equivalent grade. For SC/ST candidates eligibility will be 45% marks or equivalent grades.

(2) In case of candidates studying in University/Board/College or School in a foreign country, the eligibility/qualifying examination will be the same as recognized equivalent to 10+2 by the University or the Association of Indian Universities with 50% marks in three subjects as detailed above in (a). For SC/ST candidates, eligibility will be 45% marks or equivalent grades.

Admission Details

Himachal Pradesh University invites applications from eligible candidates for admission in various programmes. The method of admission will be Course Admission. Quota/Reservation will be provided to the following categories: Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes and PWBD Quota. The examination will be conducted through Offline mode at Regional level. After completion of all procedures, successful candidates will be granted admission to Shimla, Himachal Pradesh, India, 171001.

First list of Lateral Entry candidates was uploaded on website on 03.09.2022. But some of the candidates didn’t deposit the requisite fee within stipulated time.
