Essential Qualification: It is desirable that the person should be a visionary with Ph.D having proven leadership qualities, administrative capabilities, should have proven credentials of academic excellence, exposure to the higher education system in the country and abroad, should have an outstanding academic record and prominent teaching / research credentials throughout the career.

Essential Work Experience: Minimum of ten years of experience as Professor in a University or ten years of experience in a reputed research and / or academic administrative organisation with proof of having demonstrated academic leadership and adequate experience in academic and administrative governance.
