ICAR Central Coastal Agricultural Research Institute invites applications for the following post via direct recruitment:

Post Name: Research Associate

Essential Qualification: 

  • PhD degree in any discipline of Agriculture and Allied Sciences. or

  • Masters degree in any discipline of Agriculture and Allied Sciences with 4/5 years of Bachelors degree having 1st division or 60% marks or equivalent overall Grade Point Average, with at least three years of research experience as evidenced from Fellowship Associateship/training/ other engagements and one research paper in Science Citation Index (SCI)/NAAS (rated > 24.0) Journal.

  • PhD in Food Process Engineering/Food Technology/Agricultural Process Engineering Agricultural Processing and Structures with 4/5 years degree on B Tech or BE Agricultural Engineering/ B Tech or BE Food Technology/Food Process Engineering/ B Tech or BE Agricultural Process Engineering. OR

  • Masters in Food Technology/Food Process Engineering/Agricultural Process Engineering with 4/5 years of Bachelors degree having 1st division or 60% marks or equivalent overall grade point average, or B Tech or BE Agricultural Engineering B Tech or BE Food Technology/Food Process Engineering/ B Tech or BE Agricultural Process Engineering with at least 3 years Research Experience as evidenced from Fellowship/Associate ship/Training/ other engagements and one research paper in Science Citation Index (SCI)/NAAS (rated > 24.0) journal.

Desirable: 

  • Diploma in IPR/Experience in IP management/ technology commercialization/ITMU activities

  • Proficiency in Computer Applications like MS Office, database applications etc.
