Panjab University Chandigarh invites applications for the following post via direct recruitment:

Post Name: Assistant Professor (Guest Faculty)

Essential Qualification:

1. Good academic record a defined by the concerned university with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in point scale wherever grading system is followed) at the masters degree level from an Indian University in the discipline of Biophysics and allied areas, or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign University. A relaxation of 5% shall be provided for the candidate belonging to SC/ST Physically& Visually handicapped/OBC (Non Creamy Layer)/ Ph.D degree holders, who have obtained their Masters Degree prior to 19th September 1991.

2. The candidates must have cleared the national Eligibility Test (NET) Conducted by the UGC, CSIR or similar test accredited by the UGC like SLET/SET or who are or have been awarded a Ph.D. Degree in accordance with the University Grants Commission.
