Essential Qualification:
For Direct Recruitment
(1) Doctorate in any discipline with First or second class Masters Degree;
(2) At least 12 years of experience of teaching/research in any University or college or educational administration in higher education;
(3) Holding analogous post on regular basis in the parent cadre/department; or With 5 years service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on regular basis in pay Band-3 with Grade pay or equivalent in the parent cadre/department.
For Deputation
a) officers under the central Government, State Government, universities and Autonomous bodies:-
(1) Holding analogous posts on regular basis in the parent cadre/department; or
(2) With 5 years of service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on regular basis in pay level-12, (Pay Band-3 with Grade pay) or equivalent in the parent cadre/department.
Essential Work Experience: 5 years of experience in educational administration.
Post Name: Deputy Secretary
Essential Qualification:
(1) First class Master Degree of a recognized University with a good academic record
(2) At least 7 years experience of teaching/research in University or college or Educational Administration in higher education
Essential Work Experience: With 5 years service in the grade rendered after appointment on regular basis in pay level-11 (Pay Band-3 with Grade Pay Pre-revised ) or equivalent in-the parent cadre/department.
Desirable: Doctorate in any discipline.
