Jammu and Kashmir Public Service Commission invites applications for the following post via direct recruitment:

Post Name: Physical Training Instructor

Essential Qualification:

  • A Masters Degree in Physical Education or Masters Degree in Sports Science with at least 55% marks (50% excluding any grace marks, in case of ST/SC/Differently abled) (Physically and Visually differently abled) Categories/ Ph.D degree holders, who have obtained their Masters Degree prior to 19th September 1991 or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed with a consistently good academic record.

  • Has represented the University/College at the inter-university/collegiate competition or the State and/or national championship.

  • The candidate must have cleared NET/SLET/SET conduct ted by the U7GS, CSIR /AIU.

  • The candidates who are, or have been awarded a Ph.D degree in accordance with the University Grants Commission (Minimum Standards and Procedure for Aware of Ph.D degree regulations), 2009 shall be exempted from the requirement of the minimum eligibility condition of NET/SLET/SET.

Recruitment Details

Jammu and Kashmir Public Service Commission invites application for various posts. Total 53 number of vacancy/vacancies have been announced in the notification. Applications are invited with reference to advertisement number 08-PSC(DR-P) of 2023. The minimum age limit is 18 and maximum age limit is 40 as on date. Age relaxation will be given to the following categories: SC/ST Categories, Economically Weaker Section, Government Servant/ Departmental Candidate and Person With Benchmark Disability will be as per the government rules. Quota/Reservation will be provided to the following categories: Scheduled Castes, Unreserved, Scheduled Tribes, Other Backward Classes, Economically Weaker Sections and PWBD Quota . The examination will be conducted through Offline mode at Regional level. The selection process will include an Interview process. There will be a Physical Test. After compilation of all the procedures, the candidates will be posted at Jammu and Kashmir, 182148.
