Department of Food and Public Distribution invites applications for the following posts via Deputation

Post name: Assistant Professor (Physical Chemistry) [National Sugar Institute Kanpur]

Eligibility:

Officers under the Central Government or State Governments or Union Territory Administration or Recognized Research institutes or Universities or Public Sector Undertakings or Autonomous or Statutory Organizations:-

(a)(i) holding analogous posts on a regular basis in the parent cadre or department or

(ii) with five years service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto in level-lO (Rs. 56,100-1,77,500) in the pay matrix or equivalent, in the parent cadre or department and

(b) Possessing the following educational qualifications and experience, namely:-

(a) (i) Masters degree in Physical Chemistry or Masters Degree in Chemistry with Physical Chemistry as one of the papers from a recognized University or institute; and

(ii) five years post qualification experience of research work in Physical Chemistry or five years working experience in sugar factory or distillery or other related industrial units or five years teaching experience at degree level in Physical Chemistry;

OR

(b)(i) Doctorate in Chemistry from a recognised University or institute with essential qualifications at Masters Degree in Physical Chemistry or Masters Degree in Chemistry with Physical Chemistry as one of the papers from a recognized University or institute; and

(ii) three years working experience in sugar factory or distillery or other related industrial units or three years teaching experience at degree level in Physical Chemistry.
