Joint Electricity Regulatory Commission invites applications for the following posts via direct recruitment :

Post Name : Staff Consultant (Legal)

Essential Qualification : Bachelors Degree in law from recognized university/institution.

Essential Work Experience : Work experience of not less than three years in drafting replies/ rejoinders in proper legal form, analyzing & scrutinizing petitions/PPAS/ Regulations/ Orders/ other legal documents, recording court proceedings, appearance before High Courts, District Courts, quasi-judicial forums, etc. proficient in MS Office Tools

Desirable :

The candidate should have knowledge of the following:

(1) The regulatory framework in the electricity sector of India, functioning of Electricity Regulatory Commissions & APTEL.

(2) Legislations relevant to power sector specially Electricity Act 2003.

(3) The policy regime including National Electricity Policy and Tariff Policy of India.

(4) Candidates having experience of working in Electricity Regulatory Commissions/ APTEL shall have added advantage.

 

Post Name : Staff Consultant (Administration)

Essential Qualification : Graduation from recognized university.

Essential Work Experience : Work Experience of not less than Five years in the different fields like :

(1) 5 years experience of secretarial practices

(2) 5 years experience of Executive court work

(3) 5 years administrative experience in field of office management, General Administration and Establishment matters etc.

Desirable : Good Working knowledge of MS-Excel, MS Word, Power Point, MS Access & Outlook.
