Essential Qualification:

(i) BE/B.Tech/ME/M.Tech in Materials Science and Engineering/Materials Science and Technology/Metallurgical and Materials Engineering/Materials Science/Glass and Ceramic Engineering/Functional Materials and Nanotechnology/Nano science/Ceramic Engineering/Ceramic Technology/Material Engineering/Chemical Engineering/Biotechnology with valid NET-LS/GATE or any of the equivalent national eligibility tests. Or

(ii) M. Sc. in Materials Science/Physics/Chemistry/ Nano science/Biotechnology/Environmental Science or equivalent with valid NET-LS/GATE or any of the equivalent national eligibility tests.
