ICAR National Institute for Plant Biotechnology invites application from eligible candidates for Walk-in-Interview for the following posts:

Post Name: Project Associate-I

Essential Qualification:

1. For emoluments at 31000/- + 27 % HRA, Post Graduate degree in Natural Science/ Agricultural Science/ Basic Science/ or graduate/post graduate degree in professional courses from a recognized university or equivalent, selected through the medium of following

   • CSIR-UGC NET including Lecturership (Assistant Professorship) or GATE or

   • A selection process through National Level examinations conducted by Central Govt. departments and their agencies and organization

2. For emoluments at 25000/-+27% HRA, Post Graduate degree in Natural Science/ Agricultural Science/ Basic Science/ or graduate/post graduate degree in professional courses from a recognized university or equivalent only

Desirable:Experience in cytogenetics,/ genetics and plant breeding/ plant tissue culture/molecular biology/bioinformatics tools and techniques.

Post Name: Young Professional

Essential Qualification: Post Graduate degree in relevant subjects or Graduate degree holders in relevant Agricultural Sciences/Plant pathology/Biotechnology/ Life sciences according to need.

Desirable: Experience in pathogen handling, execution of field trials/plant tissue culture/molecular biology/bioinformatics tools and techniques like next generation sequencing.
