Uttarakhand Public Service Commission invites applications for Veterinary Officer (Grade-2) Exam 2023

Exam name: Veterinary Officer (Grade-2) Exam

Educational Qualification: 

  • Veterinary medicine from any university established by law in India and recognized by the Indian Veterinary Council or Bachelors degree in Science and Animal Husbandry (BVSc and AH) or its equivalent degree from any other institution recognized by the Government or as prescribed from time to time Amended Indian Veterinary Act, 1984 Act As per clause (c) of section 2 of Act No 52 of 1984 any other veterinary qualification defined

  • Must be duly registered with Uttarakhand Veterinary Council

Preferential Qualification:

  • Have a post graduate degree, diploma, or any other higher qualification in veterinary science or

  • Must have served in the Territorial Army for a minimum period of two years or

  • Must have obtained B or C certificate of National Cadet Corps

Recruitment Details

Uttarakhand Public Service Commission invites application for various posts. Total 91 number of vacancy/vacancies have been announced in the notification. Applications are invited with reference to advertisement number A-3/DR(VO)/S-1/2023. The minimum age limit is 21 and maximum age limit is 40 as on date. Age relaxation will be given to the following categories: SC/ST Categories, Other Backward Classes and Ex-Servicemen will be as per the government rules. Quota/Reservation will be provided to the following categories: Unreserved, Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, Other Backward Classes, Economically Weaker Sections, Women, Ex-servicemen and PWBD Quota . The examination will be conducted through Offline mode at Regional level. After compilation of all the procedures, the candidates will be posted at Uttarakhand, India, 246130.
