Defence Research and Development Organisation invites applications for the following post via direct recruitment:

Post Name: Consultant

Essential Qualification:

  1. Graduate Degree (B.E / B.Tech) or its equivalent in Aeronautical / Aerospace / Mechanical Engineering

  2. Military Helicopter pilot with a Graduate Degree (Any discipline), Flying rating of MG in ALH flying, Good flight safety record, qualified in flight safety and accident investigation, experience in dealing with design & development agency HAL and Experience in Air to Ground missile project.

  3. Graduate Degree (B.E/B.Tech) in Electronics, Communication and Electrical Systems


Desirable Qualification:

  1. M.E / M.Tech in Aeronautical / Aerospace / Mechanical Engineering.

  2. Worked with DRDO Weapon projects, experience in certification, experience of flying helicopters including ALH.

  3. (M.E/M.Tech) in Electronics, Communication & Electrical Systems.

Essential Work Experience:

  1. The consultant should have more than 30 years of experience in the field of certification of aeronautical systems, hydraulic systems and landing gear systems.

  2. The consultant should also have experience of aero mechanical aspects of weapon integration.

  3. Experience in projects like Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAVs), LCA/HJT-36/HTT-40/Kiran / AEW&C / Jaguar / Mirage and ALH.

  4. Knowledge of military standards, guide lines of airborne stores and knowledge of airworthiness certification requirements.

  5. Preference will be given to persons retired from DRDO, ADA, PSUs & CSIR Labs.
