Essential Qualification:
Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Sciences/Technology or Materials Science & Engineering or Chemical Engineering or Biotechnology or any allied disciplines. Applicants who have submitted their Ph.D. thesis and are waiting for their final thesis defense are also eligible to apply.
Expertise in polymer-based drug/protein delivery systems.
Desirable:
Experience developing drug delivery carriers & designing amorphous formulations, expertise in biopolymers for controlled release applications, working knowledge of poorly soluble drugs & drug-excipient compatibilities. Prior experience with biotherapeutics and click chemistry is welcome. Direct hands-on experience with animal studies is also welcome.
Strong fundamentals and hands-on experience with techniques such as FTIR, Ramanspectroscopy, uv spectroscopy, DSC, XRD, HPLC
