Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel National Police Academy invites applications for the following posts via Deputation:

Post Name: Veterinary Officer

Essential Qualification: 

Officers under the Central Governments or State Governments or Union territories administration or Autonomous or Statutory Organisation or Public Sector Undertakings or University or Recognised Research Institution:

(i) holding analogous posts on regular basis in the parent cadre or department; or

(ii) with two years regular service in Level-9 (53,100- 1,67,800) in the pay matrix or equivalent in the parent cadre or department; or

(iii) with four years regular service in posts in Level-8 (47,600-1,51,100/-) in the Pay Matrix or equivalent in the parent cadre or department; and

(b) possessing the following educational qualifications and experience:

(i) Bachelor degree in Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry and Animal Husbandry or Veterinary Science from a recognised University or Institute;

(ii) registered with the Veterinary Council of India or State or Union territories Veterinary Council;

(iii) three years experience in veterinary practice.

Desirable:

(i)One year teaching experience in stable management; and

(ii)One year experience in treatment and care of horses.
