Post Name: Program Officer

Essential Qualification:

• A Masters’ level degree in engineering or energy planning and minimum 05 years of work experience in the energy sector;

• Operational experience as a technical specialist in the energy sector;

• Hands-on project management experience, an ability to efficiently manage many activities simultaneously, a flair for problem-solving and an ability to self-navigate through complex bureaucratic environments;

• Proven understanding of energy policies, strategies, institutions, and regulations;

• Ability to translate technical and cross-country knowledge into practical applications;

• Understand relevant cross-sectoral areas and how they are interrelated;

• Good social, analytical, inter-personal and planning skills;

• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
