National Medical Library invites applications for the following posts via Deputation:

Post Name: Library and Information Assistant

Essential Qualification: Officers under the Central Government or State Government or Union territories or autonomous or statutory organisation or public sector undertakings or universities or recognized research institutions:

(A) (i) Holding analogous posts on regular basis; or

(ii) With six years of regular service in the post in the Pay Band-1, 5200-20200/- with grade pay of 2800/- or equivalent; and

(B) Possessing the following educational qualifications and experience:

1. Bachelors Degree in Library Science or Library and Information Science from a recognized university or institute;

2. Two years professional experience in a Library under Central or State Government or autonomous or statutory organization or public sector undertaking or university or recognized research institute or educational institute.

Desirable: Diploma in Computer Applications from Institute a recognised University or
