Post Name: Project Technical Support-III

Essential Qualification:

  • Three years Graduate in Bioinformatics with three years experience in Bioinformatics or

  • Masters Degree in Bioinformatics

  • For Engineering: First Class four-year Graduate degree in Engineering/ Technology (Bioinformatics) from a recognized University with three years relevant experience

Desirable: Working experience in Next Generation Sequencing applications, molecular docking & Molecular Dynamics Simulations, Machine Learning algorithms etc.

Post Name: Project Research Scientist-I (Non-Medical)

Essential Qualification:

  • First class Master Degree in Computer Science/ Computer Application or

  • Second class Master Degree in Computer Science/ Computer Application with Ph.D.

  • For Engineering: First Class four-year Bachelors degree in Engineering/ Technology (Computer/ Information Technology/ Computer Science) with four years relevant experience

Desirable:

  • Experience in High Performance Computing Management

  • Experience in handling and analysis of Next Generation Sequencing data

  • Experience in scripting language (PERL/PYTHON/R etc.)

  • Experience in conceptualizing and executing collaborative/independent research projects.

Essential Qualification:

  • Three years degree in Computer Application/ Computer Science with three years relevant experience or

  • Master degree in Computer Application/ Computer Science or

  • For Engineering: First class four-year Bachelors degree in Engineering/ Technology (Computer/ Information Technology/ Computer Science) with three years relevant experience

Desirable:

  • Experience in scripting language (PERL/PYTHON/R etc.)

  • Experience with HPC systems

  • Experience in handling and analysis of Bioinformatics, Next-Generation Sequencing data etc.

Recruitment Details

ICMR National Institute of Virology invites application for various posts. Total 4 number of vacancy/vacancies have been announced in the notification.
