South Western Railway invites applications for the following posts via direct recruitment:

Essential Qualification:

Passed 12th (+2 stage) or its equivalent examination from recognized Board with not less than 50% marks in the aggregate (50% marks are not required for SC/ST/Ex-servicemen candidates and candidates possessing higher qualification like Graduation/Post Graduation from recognized institutions).
Passed Matriculation Plus Course Completed Act Apprenticeship/ITI approved by NCVT/SCVT from recognized institutions for the posts in Technical Categories (No other qualification including Diploma in Engineering is considered as alternative higher qualification on the ground of being a higher qualification in the same line of training).

Essential Qualification: 10th Pass OR ITI OR equivalent OR National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) granted by NCVT from recognized institutions

Recruitment Details

South Western Railway invites application for various posts. Total 11 number of vacancy/vacancies have been announced in the notification. Applications are invited with reference to advertisement number SWR/ /P-HQ/ /Scouts& Guides. The minimum age limit is 18 and maximum age limit is 32 as on date. Age relaxation will be given to the following categories: SC/ST Categories, Other Backward Classes, Jammu and Kashmir Domicile, Women, Divorced Women, Person With Benchmark Disability and Ex-Servicemen will be as per the government rules. The examination will be conducted through Offline mode at Regional level. After compilation of all the procedures, the candidates will be posted at Hubballi, Karnataka, India, 580021.
