National Institute of Animal Biotechnology invites applications for the following post via direct recruitment:

Post Name: Project Associate-I 

Essential Qualification:

(i) MSc (Life Sciences/Biotechnology/Biochemistry/Microbiology, Bioinformatics)/Post Graduate Degree in Veterinary Science (MVSc) with NET qualification or,

(ii) Non-NET-qualified candidates with a post-graduate degree in the above-mentioned subjects can also apply and will be paid as per DST guidelines

Essential Work Experience: Candidate with experience in Molecular biology/Genomics/Genome sequencing/Animal Genetics and breeding/ Nanotechnology and expertise to work with large animal models will be given preference.

Desired : Candidate with experience in Molecular biology/Genomics/Genome sequencing/Animal Genetics and breeding/ Nanotechnology and having expertise to work with large animal model will be given preference.

Post Name: Field Assistant 

Essential Qualification: B.Sc. (Life sciences/Agricultural sciences/Biotechnology/Biochemistry/Microbiology), Intermediate with Diploma in animal husbandry or veterinary sciences

Essential Work Experience: Candidate with experience in large animal handling, large animal breeding, and management of goats with the ability to speak English, Kannada, Hindi, and Telugu will be given preference.

Desired : Candidate with experience in large animal handling, large animal breeding and management of goats with ability to speak English, Kannada, Hindi and Telugu will be given preference.
