Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee invites applications for the following posts via direct recruitment:

Post Name: Project Associate

Essential Qualification: 

• Graduate, OR Master Degree OR PhD Degree (Current Final Year Students completing their graduation requirements by May-June 2024 are also eligible to apply)

• Knowledge (reading, writing, and speaking) of the Kurukh tribal language is required

• Preferred domain in Planning; Tribal Studies, Environment especially Carbon Credit Procedures, Indigenous and Local Knowledge, Agriculture, Forestry; Remote Sensing, and GIS.

• Communication ability in any or all (Chhattisgarhi, Sadri, Hindi) will be desirable.

• Any prior experience on tribal language will be given weightage
