Essential Qualification : An applicant for the post of Chairman or Member of the Board should have Masters Degree in any stream from a recognized University.
Essential Work Experience :
(1) An applicant for the post of Chairman or Member of the Board should be a person of ability, integrity and standing, having special knowledge of or professional experience in, one or more fields of administration, road safety, urban planning, law, traffic management and regulation, health and advocary, police enforcement and investigation, transport engineering, insurance, automobile engineering, civil engineering and public transport.
(2) An applicant for the post of Chairman or Member of the Board should be a person of ability, integrity and standing, having special knowledge of or professional experience in, one or more fields of administration, road safety, urban planning, law, traffic management and regulation, health and advocary, police enforcement and investigation, transport engineering, insurance, automobile engineering, civil engineering and public transport.
(3) A Member, unless he has attained 45 years of age coupled with a minimum experience of 20 years in any of the fields mentioned in para 6.41
