National Museum invites applications for the following posts via Deputation:

Post Name: Production Officer

Essential Qualification: Officers of the Central Government or State. Governments or Union Territories or Universities or Recognized Research Institutions or Public Sector Under- takings or Semi Government or Statutory or autonomous organisations :-

(a) (i) holding analogous posts on regular basis in the parent cadre or Department. OR

(ii) with three years regular service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on a regular basis in the post in the pay scale of of 5500-9000 or equivalent in the parent cadre or Department. and

(b) Possessing the following educational qualifications and experience:

(1) (a) Masters Degree of a recognized University or equivalent in History or Sanskrit or Pali or Prakrit or Persian or Arabic or Archaeology or Anthropology or Fine Arts or History of Art. and

(b) Diploma in Museology of a recognized university or institution or equivalent. OR Masters Degree of a recognized University or equivalent in Museology with History as a subject at Bachelors degree level.

(ii) Three years experience in production of art books.

(iii) Diploma in printing from a recognized university or institution or equivalent or three years working experience of organizing modern printing of publications in a museum or National or Regional importance under the control of Central Government or State Governments or Union territories.

(iv) Knowledge of Hindi at the level of matriculation from a recognized board or equivalent.

(2) The Departmental Assistant Curator (Publication) in the pay scale of 5500 9000 with three years regular service in the grade will also be considered along with outsiders. In case he/she is selected for appointment to the post the same shall be deemed to have been filled by promotion.
