Indian Oil Corporation Limited invites online applications from eligible candidates for admission in Diploma programme. The important details of the admission process are listed below -

Course name: General Nursing and Midwifery

Educational Qualification:

  • 10+2 class passed preferably Science (Physic, Chemistry & Biology) & English with aggregate of 40% marks at the qualifying examination from a recognized Board

  • Candidates are also eligible from state open school recognized by State Government and National Institute of Open School (NIOS) recognized by Central Government.

  • 10+ 2 in Arts (Mathematics, Biotechnology, Economics, Political Science, History, Geography, Business Studies, Accountancy, Home Science, Sociology, Psychology, Philosophy) and English Core/English Elective or Health care Science – Vocational stream ONLY, passing out from recognized Board under AISSCE/CBSE/ICSE/SSCE/HSCE or other equivalent Board with 40% marks.

  • 10+2 vocational Auxiliary Nursing Midwifery (ANM) under CBSE Board or other equivalent Board from the school and recognized by Indian Nursing Council with 40% marks.

  • Registered as Auxiliary Nursing Midwifery (ANM) with pass marks from State Nursing Registration Council.

  • Candidates possessing professional qualifications such as BE/B.Tech, MBA, CA, LLB, MCA etc. or any such equivalent qualification shall not be eligible

  • Relaxable by 5% for SC/ST and PwBD candidates.

Admission Details

Indian Oil Corporation Limited invites applications from eligible candidates for admission in various programmes. The method of admission will be Course Admission. Applications are invited with reference to advertisement number CSR (N)/GNM-2023. Quota/Reservation will be provided to the following categories: Unreserved, Economically Weaker Sections, Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, Other Backward Classes, PWBD Quota and Women. The examination will be conducted through Offline mode at Regional level. The selection process will include an Interview process. After compilation of all the procedures, the candidates will be posted at Digboi, Assam, India, 786171.
