Event Information

Central Agricultural University Imphal invites online application from eligible candidates for admission in phd programme. The important details of the admission process are listed below -

Course name: Doctor of Philosophy (PhD)

Educational Qualification: Candidates with Masters degree in concerned/related subjects from a recognized University with OGPA of 6.50/10.00, 3.25/5.00, 2.60/4.00 are eligible for admission to the Doctoral programmes under General/OBC(NCL)/EWS category. SC/ST/PwBD/Third Gender category candidates with OGPA of 5.50/10.00, 2.75/5.00, 2.20/4.00 in the Masters degree shall be eligible for admission. In case where Grade Points are not awarded, only marks are awarded, the candidates must have secured at least 60% marks for General/OBC(NCL)/EWS category and 50% marks for SC/ST/PwBD/Third Gender category. The candidates passed with 3 years UG degree programme are not eligible for admission in any of the above PhD programmes.

Admission Details

Central Agricultural University Imphal invites applications from eligible candidates for admission in various programmes. The method of admission will be Course Admission. Applications are invited with reference to advertisement number CAU/Reg/1446-Acad(PhD)/22/4484. Quota/Reservation will be provided to the following categories: Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, Other Backward Classes, Economically Weaker Sections and PWBD Quota. The examination will be conducted through Offline mode at Regional level. After completion of all procedures, successful candidates will be granted admission to Lamphelpat, Imphal, Manipur, India, 795004.

It is hereby informed that 2nd Online Counselling for Vacant Seats for the enclosed disciplines in PhD (Agriculture) Programmes under CAU Imphal will be held on 9th November from 3:30 PM onwards through Google Meet. Meeting will be shared on the respective e-mail IDs of the candidates.
