Post Name:Project Associate-I

Essential Qualification: M.Sc. in relevant field from a recognized University or equivalent

Desirable:

1. Knowledge of Medicinal and Aromatic Plants cultivation and quality planting material generation. Fieldwork experience in Medicinal and Aromatic Plants preferred.

2. Fieldwork experience in Medicinal and Aromatic Plants preferred. Field experience working in the higher altitudinal area of Western Himalaya.

3. Experience in the area of molecular biology (DNA and RNA isolation, cloning, and PCR)/ in the area of plant tissue culture and genetic transformation of plants/ plant genetics/ plant biochemistry and plant physiology.

Post Name: Senior Project Associate

Essential Qualification:

1. M.Sc. in Botany/Biotechnology OR B. Tech in Biotechnology from a recognized University or equivalent.AND

   Four years experience in Research and Development in Industrial and Academic Institutions or Science and Technology Organisations and Scientific activities and services in the area of Medicinal & Aromatic Plants.OR

2. Ph.D. in Botany/Biotechnology from a recognized University or equivalent.

Desirable: Knowledge of Medicinal and Aromatic Plants or Plant Molecular Biology or Plant Taxonomy. 

Post Name:Project Assistant

Essential Qualification: B.Sc. in relevant field from a recognized University or equivalent.

Desirable:

1. Fieldwork experience in Medicinal and Aromatic Plants preferred.

2. Experience in plant Taxonomy or Herbarium Management preferred.

3. Experience in running and maintaining HVAC system.

4. Good knowledge of MS Word, MS Excel and experience in data entry. Experience in using office automation software/training staff in the use of office automation, file management, photo/video edition, etc
