Essential Qualification: Ph.D in igneous petrology, geochemistry, or a related field. Applicants should have a good academic record and peer- reviewed publications in high-impact journals. Those who have submitted their thesis may also apply. Effective communication skills and experience with mineral/bulk-rock geochemical analysis are highly desirable. The applicant should be able to write manuscripts independently. Any experience with EPMA/XRF/ICPMS is a plus.
