Zoological Survey of India invites application from eligible candidates for Walk-in-Interview for the following posts:

Post Name: Coral reef restoration Consultant/ Expert

Essential Qualification: PhD in Zoology from a UGC recognised University with 70% aggregate marks in PG and with a minimum of 20 years of working experience in coral reef research from a renowned Institute and at least ten years of experience in leading coral restoration projects, preferably in Gulf of Kachchh reefs

Desirable:

  1. Research experience in biodiversity studies in the marine environment in general and coral reef regions in particular.

  2. Experience in organising and training reef researchers and managers in coral reef biodiversity, reef health assessment and ecological restoration activities, supported by publications.

  3. (PADI) Master SCUBA Diver or equivalent certification with frequent dive logs over a decade in all the reef regions
