Post Name: Research Associate
Essential Qualification:
Ph.D. in Agriculture / Agricultural Engineering Or
Masters degree in Agriculture / Agricultural Engineering with 4 years / 5 years of Bachelors degree having 1st division or 60% marks or equivalent overall grade point average with at least three years of research experience in relevant field as evidenced from Fellowship / Associateship / Training / other engagements. and one research paper in science Citation Index (SCI) / NAAS rated (≥ 4.0) Journal.
Desirable:
(i) Published research paper in the relevant field.
(ii) National Eligibility Test.
(iii) Experience in RS and GIS applications as evidenced from research work pertaining to application of geospatial tools, models and decision support systems in different kind of Crop and Forest. (iv) UG / PG / Ph. D Project / Thesis on RS & GIS applications in Agriculture
Post Name: Senior Research Fellow
Essential Qualification: Masters degree in the Agricultural Engineering / Land & Water Resource Engineering / Remote Sensing and GIS with 4 years / 5 years of Bachelor’s Degree. Candidates having Postgraduate degree in Basic Science with 3 years Bachelor’s degree and 2 years Master degree should have NET qualification and 2 years of research experience.
Desirable:
(i) Published research paper in the relevant field.
(ii) Certificate course on computer programming languages such as R / C++ / MatLab / PERL / Python etc.
(iii) Experience in computer programming, working experience on Satellite image acquisition and processing using different sensors (thermal, multi spectral and hyper-spectral, etc.) using R / IDL / Mat Lab / Python etc.for Natural resources management. (iv) UG / PG / Ph. D Project / Thesis on RS & GIS applications in Agriculture
Post Name: Young Professional -II
Essential Qualification: Bachelors degree in Information Technology / computer Science Engineering / Electrical/ Electronics & Communication.
Desirable:
(i) Working Experience in relevant field.
(ii) Certificate course in computer programming languages / such as Java / C++ / PHP / PERL / MATLAB/Python etc.
(iii) Certificate course in Hardware & Software management
