National Institute for the Empowerment of Persons with Visual Disabilities invites online application from eligible candidates for admission in undergraduate/postgraduate programme. The important details of the admission process are listed below -


Course name: Masters of Education Special Education (Visual Impairment)


Essential Qualification:

  1. A candidate who has passed B.Ed. Special Education (V.I.) with minimum 50% marks from a recognized University or any other degree considered equivalent to B.Ed. Special Education (V.I.) from an affiliating University and / or teaching department under any university recognized by RCI or
  2. A candidate who has passed B.Ed. and has passed one year/ two years Diploma Course in Special Education (V.I.) recognized by R.C.I. with minimum 50% marks in both the courses.


Course name: Bachelor of Education Special Education (Visual Impairment)


Essential Qualification: A candidate who has passed B.A. /B.Sc./B.Com. from a recognized University with at least 50% marks and the candidates should have studied two of the following school subjects for at least 200 marks each at under graduate level:

Hindi, English, Mathematics, History/Geography/ Economics/ Pol. Science, Science

(Chemistry/ Botany/ Physics/ Zoology)
