Essential Qualification:
PhD with first class or equivalent at the preceding degree in the appropriate branch of engineering with a very good academic record throughout.
Minimum 10 years experience out of which at least 4 years should be at the level of Associate Professor or equivalent post in industrial/ R and D organization.
An outstanding Engineer/Technologist working in industry with established reputation and who has made significant contribution to knowledge.
Requirement of PhD degree in such cases may be relaxed.
