Essential Qualification:
1st Class BE or B-Tech degree of 4 years in Computer Science / Information Technology or
1st class Post Graduate degree in Biostatistics / Public Health /Population studies / Life Science, including integrated PG degree or
2nd class Post Graduate in Biostatistics/ Public Health/ Population studies / Life Science with PhD in relevant subject from a recognized University
Desirable:
Strong analytical knowledge and experience of handling large datasets
Knowledge of handling biological database
Knowledge of handling statistical tools (R, MATLAB, STATA etc)
Experience in machine learning techniques and artificial indigence (Al)
A publication record which demonstrates experience in the conduct, analysis and reporting of analytical and clinical research of infectious diseases
The ability to understand and interpret complex research and scientific projects, and to communicate key messages to specialist and non-specialist audiences
A willingness to travel for meetings and events
Fluency or working level in English
Experience of biostatistical application in the field of medical statistics and/or epidemiology
Research experience in parasitology, epidemiology and surveillance of infectious diseases
Experience in supervision of research teams, students and research staff
