Essential Qualification:

(i) A basic University or equivalent qualification included in any one of the schedules to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 (102 of 1956) and must be registered in a state Medical Registrar or Indian Medical Registrar

(ii) M.D. (Social and Preventive Medicine)/M.D. (Community Medicine) from a recognized University/Institution or equivalent.

(ii) M.D. (Tuberculosis)/M.D. (T.B. and Respiratory Diseases)/M.D. (Medicine) with T.D.D., D.T.D., or D.T.C.D./M.D. (T.B. and Chest Diseases) from a recognized University/Institution or equivalent.

(iii) M.D. (Ophthalmology)/M.D. (Ophthalmology)/(Bacteriology)/(Anaesthesia)/M.Sc(Medical Pharmacology) from a recognized University/Institution or equivalent.

(iv) M.D. (Forensic Medicine)/(Obstetrics and Gynaecology)/(Anatomy)/MBBS/M.S. (Obstetrics and Gynaecology)/(Anatomy) from a recognized University/Institution or equivalent.

(v) Ph.D/M.Phil (Clinical Psychology) from recognized university with 04/03 years experience as Assistant Professor/Senior Lecturer from a recognized university/Teaching Institution

Essential Work Experience: Three years teaching experience in concerned speciality after acquiring postgraduate qualification as Lecturer/Registrar/Senior Resident/Demonstrator/Tutor in a recognized medical college/Teaching Institution
