National Disaster Management Authority invites applications for the following post via direct recruitment :

Post Name : Lead Consultant (Policy Planning)

Essential Qualification : Master Degree in any discipline preferably in Disaster Management, Social Sciences, Political Science, Geography, Geology, Agriculture, Management, Law, Science, Engineering

Essential Work Experience :

(1) A Candidate should have Minimum 10 years of post qualification experience in the relevant field.

(2) The applicant must have worked with government agency at national level or leading regional or international organizations or public sector agencies in the field of policy, plan and guidelines related to disaster management and preparation of disaster management plans.

(3) Candidate must have sound understanding and knowledge of issues pertaining to policy, plans and mainstreaming.

(4) Candidate should have the familiarity of working with Ministries and Departments of Government of India and with States/UTS.

(5) Both the educational qualifications and work experience must prove credentials of the applicant as an established expert in the field.

Desirable : Persons with Ph.D., additional qualifications, research experience, published papers and post qualification experience in relevant field would be preferred.
