National Museum invites applications for the following posts via Deputation:

Post Name: Production Officer

Essential Qualification: 

  1. Officers of the Central Government or State. Governments or Union Territories or Universities or Recognized Research Institutions or Public Sector Under- takings or Semi Government or Statutory or autonomous organisations

  2. holding analogous posts on regular basis in the parent cadre or Department; OR

  3. with three years regular service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on a regular basis in the post in the pay scale of of 5500-9000 or equivalent in the parent cadre or Department; and

  4. Masters-Degree of a recognized University or equivalent in History or Sanskrit or Pauli or Prakrit or Persian or Arabic or Archaeology or Anthropology or Fine Arts or History of Art; and

  5. Diploma in Museology of a recognized university or institution or equivalent. OR Masters Degree of a recognized University or equivalent in Museology with History a subject at Bachelors degree level.

  6. Three years experience in production of art books

  7. Diploma in printing from a recognized university or institution or equivalent or three years working experience of organizing modern printing of publications in a museum or National or Regional importance under the control of Central Government or State Governments or Union territoties.

  8. Knowledge of Hindi at the level of matriculation from a recognized Board or equivalent.

  9. The Departmental Assistant Curator (Publication) in the pay scale of 5500-9000 with three years regular service in the grade will also be considered along with outsides. In Case he /she is selected for appointment to the post the same shall be deemed to have been filled by Promotion.
